“A mutual friend commissioned Laura to make bicycle mugs for Eric’s birthday. The two had a chance encounter, then casual dinner plans. During the casual dinner date, that was definitely not a date, Laura bit into her burrito and, ever the lady, got sour cream all over her face. That’s when Eric knew he was smitten. In the days, weeks and months that followed, the two toured all the cool elevators they could think of in Asheville (that would be two), rode their bikes, made pizza from scratch, drank coffee and tamed a crazy adorable cat. The rest is history…”
